Copyright Policy

Copyright Policy

The FULafia Journal of Sociological Studies (FJSS) adopts a progressive copyright policy that supports both the protection of authors’ intellectual rights and the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge. Authors retain full copyright over their published work while granting FJSS a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the material.

FJSS publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) License, which permits others to copy, distribute, remix, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal is cited as the source. This policy promotes accessibility, academic collaboration, and the extended impact of research findings.

Authors are encouraged to share their published articles in institutional repositories, academic networks, and at scholarly events, provided that full citation of the original publication in FJSS is maintained. However, any commercial use or profit-oriented reproduction of the journal’s content requires explicit written permission from the editorial board.

FJSS also supports compliance with open-access mandates from research funders and institutions, facilitating greater global visibility and scholarly engagement with the published work.
