Abstract

Unemployment and underemployment has become a serious challenge to socio-economic well-being to human dignity in the society. This paper titled entrepreneurship and employability among students of tertiary institutions 
has identified types of entrepreneurship and employability as information communication technology ICT, agricultural entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, evaluate entrepreneurship and employability and ways to stimulate entrepreneurship. Secondary data was used for the study. The findings of the study revealed that the various types of entrepreneurship among students of tertiary institutions information communication technology ICT, agricultural entrepreneurship were able to create some levels of employability for the students in various capacities. The paper recommended that government and private sectors must establish core agency to promote vast numbers of entrepreneurs, government should put more emphasis on various types of entrepreneurship and employability to reduce unemployment and poverty as well as increase self-reliance, ways to stimulate entrepreneurship and employability needed to secure self-employment for the populace
